Motivation seems to be treated like a personality trait. Like some girls just wake up glowing, disciplined and effortlessly put together. But what if I told you that’s not how it works. Motivation is a state. It comes and goes. It fades. It disappears right when you need it most. And if you rely on it, you’ll always feel one step behind.

The girls who actually get things done don’t wait until they’re motivated, they power through it all anyway.

Here’s a girls guide on how to build that kind of energy.

• If you have the “I’ll do it when I feel like it” mindset, nothing is ever going to change. If you know something needs to be done, avoid procrastination and just get it finished then and there.

• You’re not supposed to “feel” ready, you’re supposed to do it anyway. Whether you’re unprepared, messy, tired. Just begin anyway.

• Momentum creates motivation, not the other way around.

  2. I do this every day! I always remind myself that I’ll never willingly want to do it, but I’ll have to at some point, so get it over with as soon as I can so I can live without the thought of having to do it 💗
