This is the perfect guide to make your everyday life magical with a little “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo” but without it wearing off after midnight..

I mean almost every girl has wanted to feel like a princess at least once in their lifetime. Especially after watching movies like Cinderella or Barbie Princess Charm School (I cannot even begin to explain how much I wanted to be like Delancy). Maybe you’ve experimented with hairbows, shimmery eyeshadow or frilly skirts, but either way, I assure you that you’ve come to the right place.

Consider this to be your official everyday princess handbook for mindset, fashion and personality tips!

  • always be well rested, princesses need their beauty sleep!!
  • wish upon shooting stars
  • take bubble baths
  • write diary entries
  • romanticise getting ready every morning
  • wear silk / lace pjs every night
  • keep a consistent hygeine routine
  • use heatless curlers & take care of your hair!
  • use body lotion after showers or baths
  • practice good posture
  • keep a vanilla scented candle lit at all times

No matter how beautiful you are on the outside, inner beauty will always shine brighter. Make sure to offer help to those in need, be kind to others and respect those who respect you equally so. If you don’t know where to begin, start with the simple things like smiling at strangers that pass you by, holding a door open for someone or helping your parents with the grocery bags.

Some very princessy personality/mindset traits include:

  • not judging people based on appearance
  • caring and respectful towards animals
  • staying loyal to loved ones
  • being graceful and elegant
  • using manners / being polite
  • loving hobbies like singing and art
  • being soft spoken and well educated
  • being imaginative
  • having big goals and dreams
  • believing in magic
  • staying optimistic
  • having confidence
  • finding the good in others

Unfortunately, princess fashion today isn’t what it used to be with all the puff sleeves, ball gowns and crowns..although you can still dress that way if you wish to of course! Best believe when I was little I rocked up to my local cafe in my rapunzel dress and plastic disney heels. But nowadays, the princess look is much more focused on pieces like: Lace camisoles, satin slips, fitted cardigans, ballet flats, pearl jewellery, and flowing skirts.

  1. ACCESSORISE! use things like ribbon, dainty necklaces and headbands.
  2. Use fabrics like lace, satin, chiffon, cashmere, and silk in your everyday outfits.
  3. Keep a a princess colour palette: baby pink, ivory, cream, blush, champagne, white, and the occasional chocolate brown.
  4. Always have a skirt in your wardrobe.
  5. Do your makeup with shimmery eyeshadows and sparkly lip glosses.

Don’t forget your crown!!!
