6:00 AM: Wake up before the rest of Rosewood. Check your phone immediately. Who texted? Who posted? Who’s suddenly acting different?

6:15 AM: Sit at your vanity with a cup of tea and quietly scroll through everyone’s lives. We all know Alison treats information like other people treat breakfast.

6:35 AM: Open your closet and choose today’s personality. Will it be sweet Alison? untouchable Alison? I suppose it depends on who’s watching.

6:50 AM: Get dressed first. Perfect outfit, perfect jewellery, perfect shoes. The look comes before everything else.

7:05 AM: Head downstairs for breakfast with your family. Listen to conversations, ask questions, and hear about what’s happening around town.

7:25 AM: Do your makeup and skincare. Glowy skin, glossy lips, mascara, and your favourite perfume.

8:00 AM: Check your phone again. Reply to a few texts but leave others on read, and send one message that keeps people guessing.

8:20 AM: Grab your handbag, phone, and lip gloss. Quick mirror check before heading out the door.

8:25 AM: Leave for school, already caught up on everyone’s lives before first period even starts.

8:35 AM: Arrival: Walk into school perfectly on time, or just late enough that people notice. Pause at your locker for a moment. By the time first period starts, you’ve already spoken to half the school.

First Lesson / Registration: Sit down looking completely relaxed. Listen carefully while appearing only half interested. Notice who’s tired, who’s nervous and who’s avoiding eye contact.

In Class:

  • Know more than people expect.
  • Raise your hand only when you know you’ll have the best answer.
  • Pay attention to everything, even when you seem distracted.
  • Occasionally catch someone’s eye across the room
  • Keep neat notes, but remember people better than facts.
  • Never looks stressed, even during tests.
  • Ensure you keep flawless grades.

Break Time: Gather with your friends near the lockers. Give out genuine compliments and exchange some gossip. Learn as many new secrets as possible before the bell rings.

Lunch: Sit wherever you want because people naturally gather around you. Between bites of lunch, collect pieces of gossip, settle tiny disputes, and casually learn things people probably shouldn’t have told you.

Afternoon Lessons:

  • Finish work quickly and spend the rest of the lesson observing.
  • Exchange subtle glances and inside jokes across the classroom.
  • Ask one perfectly timed question that puts someone on the spot.
  • Stay charming enough that teachers like you and intimidating enough that students don’t cross you.
  • Somehow know things before they’re common knowledge.

End of School:

  • Meet up with your friends after the final bell and spend twenty minutes talking in the hallway instead of actually leaving.
  • Catch up on the latest gossip, hear about who’s dating who, who’s fighting, and what’s happening this weekend.
  • Reply to texts, make plans, and make sure you’re included in anything worth knowing about.

3:30 PM: Leave school with your friends and stay talking outside long after the final bell. Make plans, exchange invitations.

4:00 PM: Take the long way home through Rosewood. Stop to talk to people, catch up with friends, and hear what’s been happening around town.

4:45 PM: Head upstairs and spend some time flipping through magazines, listening to music, or writing in your diary.

5:30 PM: Invite a friend over, walk to somebody else’s house, or spend the afternoon gathered around a kitchen table talking about school, relationships, and whatever everyone’s obsessed with that week.

6:30 PM: Get homework out of the way quickly, Alison likes having the rest of the evening free for more interesting things.

7:00 PM: Get ready for the evening. Fresh makeup, perfume, and an outfit that makes an impression without looking like it tried too hard.

7:30 PM: Head out to a football game, a party, a school event, or a friend’s house. Spend the evening surrounded by people, catching up, laughing, and somehow ending up at the centre of everything.

10:00 PM: Get home, get changed into something oversized or soft and drop your bag somewhere you’ll deal with later.

10:15 PM: Sit on your bed and open your diary. Write a few lines, then stop. Start thinking about what people said today and who said it first.

10:30 PM: Take a long, hot shower with no rushing. Wash the day out properly, resetting everything you saw and heard.

11:10 PM: Sit at your desk and go through the day properly. Write down names, moments, anything that felt off. Tear out pages, rewrite things, start again if it doesn’t feel right.

11:25 PM: Put together small things from the day. A note passed in class, a snapped photo, a ticket, a strand of ribbon, a lipstick mark on paper. Keep them in a box, folder, or drawer no one else knows about.

11:40 PM: Brush your teeth and do your skincare, self care is one of Alison’s non negotiables.

11:50 PM: Get into bed with the light still low and read something

12:10 AM: Lay still for a while, thinking about what needs to be done tomorrow, what outfit you should wear and what plans are taking place, eventually fall asleep mid thought.

Every Sunday: Sleep in, stay home for a while, and catch up on everything you missed over the week through conversations, messages, and people stopping by. Spend time planning the week around what’s actually happening in Rosewood. End the day early, ready for Monday.

A Few Times a Week: Walk through Rosewood and stop when you recognise voices, join conversations halfway through, and leave before they finish. Try on new outfits, change small details about your look, and notice who notices. End up wherever people are gathering without planning it.

Regularly: Know things without needing to ask directly. Remember details people forget they told you. Show up to places right when something interesting starts happening. Talk to everyone, but let most conversations stay unfinished.

Whenever Possible: End up at parties, games, driveways, kitchens, or anywhere people are talking too loudly to notice everything. Say yes to plans that appear suddenly and disappear just as fast.

Before Important Events: Get ready slowly, timing matters even when it doesn’t seem that way. Choose an outfit that feels like it belongs to the situation before you arrive.

Whenever You Have Free Time: Go out with your friends to a cafe or an ice cream parlour, always sit where people forget you’re fully listening, and collect information without making it obvious.

Always: Stay calm in situations that aren’t calm, say less than you know, notice more than you show, and move through Rosewood like you’re always up to something nobody will ever know about.
